♦​ Michelin Bib Mousse is an innovative foam tyre insert designed specifically for off-road motorcycle tyres. Instead of using air, the mousse insert sits between the rim and tyre, simulating normal tyre pressure and eliminating the possibility of punctures while riding.
♦​ Because it is made of foam, it won’t go flat, helping riders avoid pinch flats and rim damage on rough terrain. Michelin Bib Mousse is lighter than reinforced inner tubes, contributes to stable grip and handling, and provides a consistent pressure equivalent of about 0.9 bar (13 psi) for off-road performance.

It is optimised for Michelin tyres, and using it in tyres from other brands may affect performance and durability. The lifespan and performance of the mousse vary with type of use and terrain, typically shorter in aggressive motocross use than in enduro riding.
